Striped planter, perfectly desk sized.
These were all printed in PLA (polylactic acid) a biodegradable plastic that is one of the top thermoplastics used by 3D printers. It is compostable at an industrial level (meaning it technically won't break down in your back yard bin) but the systems built around it are improving and becoming more readily available. Outside of 3D printing you will find it used for eco friendly plastic utensils and cups. While it isn't the perfect sustainable solution, it's a giant leap from oil based plastics.
