We designed and printed this 5' wide jet propellor for the entrance of an office building in Stamford, Connecticut. Over 300 print hours and 60+ parts (not including registration pins). Printed with Raise3d and Makerbot. The nose is sand blasted and the outer cowling is chromed, the rest are raw prints.
Having fun mixing faces and temples on our resin frames. What color combo would you go for? Come to the Formlabs Roadshow tonight to see our glasses in person and help us refine our prototypes to make the perfect custom glasses.
New pen test straight out of the tumbler, packed to the brim with media.
3D Prototype Design
Close-up of our glasses pre lensing. Seen here is the first prototype, clearly named by @howdywill, but we're already several prototypes in with two styles made. Printed in @formlabs resin one day and lensed the next.
